Liam Farrell the Big Good Wolf
St Clare’s Primary School had an unusual visitor in the shape of the Big Good Wolf, a Fairy Tale character who feels he’s had a very bad press for years and years thanks to misinformation spread by the media.
Liam is a professional story teller, and gave a rousing performance of the ‘true’ story of the Wolf to the Junior classes, with a great deal of input from the children before giving a workshop to the Senior Classes on the art of writing a good story – something that many have inside of them but few perhaps take the opportunity to bring to fruition. Liam described the great pleasure of walking in to a book store and seeing your own work sitting on a shelf, or better still in someone’s hand in the queue for the till.
