June 13th Note

Bike at School day Tomorrow Wednesday 14th . Parents are welcome to drop off their child’s bike at school or cycle to school with the child. We do not encourage children to cycle to school anymore as the roads are too dangerous but pupils can cycle to school with a parent or adult guardian. All cyclists at school  MUST have a high visability vest , a helmet and parental permission in their journal .

Those with bokes will be given basic bike safety training , cycle an obstacle course on school grounds and take part in some fun bike events . Pupils of all ages / all classes who can cycle can participate.

 

Kidz on the Run 3km walk /run which will take place in Milltown  woods ,Lurganboy  this  Thursday June 15th at 10am . We hope as many parents as possible will also join the walk /run . Volunteers who do not wish to participate in the actual run are needed to help out  

 

The End of Year School Mass takes place on next Friday June 16th in the church at 12midday. All the pupils attending church will go home directly or be collected from the church at 1pm approx. The mass will be a celebration of the school year led by our 6th class.

 

The Parents Association are running a Fun Fair day next Sunday with children’s entertainment, bouncing castles and bake sale etc… on Sunday.It runs from 2pm until 5pm and costs €10 per family .

 

This is national Bike week . The Manorhamilton Cycling Club have a fun family cycle on nSunday leaving the Bee park at 2:30 , over 9’s only and all cyclists must have helmet, high visability vests and be accompanied by an adult .

 

School Reports will be sent by e mail next Monday June 19th . Paper reports will be available from Wednesday 21st from the school hall . 

 

School Closes for Summer Holidays on Friday 23rd.Reopens for pupils on Wednesday August 30th.
